Daryl Lavern Wisthoff

Daryl Wisthoff, 76, of Fort Dodge died on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Trinity Regional Medical Center after a long battle with leukemia. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A service will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Gunderson's. Interment will take place at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Crown Hill Cemetery in Jolley, IA. The family will also have a celebration of life with food provided on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Cooper's Cove in Clare, IA. Daryl Lavern Wisthoff, the son of Paul Laverne and Laura Emma (Ramthun) Wisthoff was born on March 24, 1944 in Fort Dodge, IA. Daryl served in the U.S. Army as an MP. Daryl was a mechanic and business owner. He worked for many years for Morrisey Olds and Cadillac. He owned and operated Wisthoff Painting and Daryl's Auto Repair.
