Leo Hooben

Mr. Leo Rusty Hooben, of Falmouth, died Saturday, June 6 in the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Carol A. (Arouca) Hooben. He was born 59 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Leo A. and Lois A. (Lovell) Hooben. He was educated in Taunton and had been a Falmouth resident for the past 31 years. A self-employed Master Carpenter for most of his life, Leo owned and operated R & C Carpentry in Falmouth. In high school, he worked for the Great Elm Greenhouses in Brockton. He was a member of the Wareham Lodge of Elks. Leo enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, playing softball on the R & C Carpentry team, taking cross country trips, his many new cars, skiing, and socializing with his friends. He was a communicant of the former Immaculate Conception Parish in Taunton. In addition to his wife of 41 years, he leaves: 2 sons: Leo A. Hooben of So. Boston, and Derek H.
