Connie Sue Chaplin

Connie Sue (Parks) Chaplin, 67, of Marion, Indiana, died Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Marion General Hospital. Connie was born on February 4, 1951, daughter of the late Louis F. and Eunice C. (Barnes) Parks. She graduated from Fairmount High School in 1969 and received an AssociatesDegree from Indiana Business College. She married John E. Chaplin, Jr. on September 9, 1972, atSweetserWesleyan Church. Connie was an office manager at Crawford Insurance Company for 20 years and retired from the Grant County Extension Office after 18 years, where she was also an office manager. She loved being a grandma, reading, doing puzzles,watching Days of Our Lives, and she was a Master Gardener. Funeral services celebrating Connies life will be on Monday, October 8, 2018, at 10 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Matt Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Marion, IN.
