2012 (one of her happier moments), served as President of her league on Tuesday evenings, bowled on Thursday morning with the Early Risers League and on the Senior League Tuesday and Friday afternoons. She also enjoyed going to the cabin in Minnesota fishing in the summer with her special friend Randy. She and Randy would travel to many places including two to three months in South Padre Island, TX, each winter.
Lorna was preceded in death by her mother Edna (Rosten) Holmes, father Mandius Holmes, five sisters, two brothers, and husband Don in November, 1983.
Left to cherish her memory is her special friend Randy Bohlen, Randy's family, Robert Perkinson, Lisa Schwickerath, special niece Julie, nephew Mike (wife Carrie, son Matt, daughter Katie), nephew Gregg (wife Gigi, daughters, Heather and Amanda, sister-in-laws Del Holmes, Leone (Lee) Holmes (son, Joseph, daughter Ashley) and several other nieces/great nieces, nephews/great nephews and all of her 'bowling buddies' especially Darlyce Zimmer, Judith Buchholz, Dotta Bissonette, and Pat Mehmen.
