Kim M. Felter, 54, of Sherman St, Kingston and also Rosendale, died Monday, July 27th, 2020 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus. She was born in Kingston, New York on January 28th, 1966, a daughter of Edward Felter of Saugerties and Julia Felter of Kingston. Kim was employed as a retail sales clerk at Marshalls for over 25 years. She was also a jewelry assembler for Lunch at the Ritz in their locations in Germantown, Lake Katrine and Saugerties. She loved attending rock concerts, especially those featuring Joan Jett, and the late Prince. She enjoyed visiting the Jersey Shore, hot air balloons and parasailing, and was a thrill-seeker on roller coasters. Kim was always full of life, always happy, and never had a bad word about anyone. She would bring joy into any room she walked in. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her longtime companion, Bill Van Vliet of Rosendale, one sister, Valerie Felter of Kingston, two brothers, Ed Felter, and his wife Laura, of Saugerties, and Russ Felter, and his companion Holly Raskoskie, of Kingston. The family will receive friends at the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.
