t like her daddy. She celebrated 30 years of sobriety on January 1st and was a longtime member of the Alano Club. Pamela was the ex-wife of William "Billy" Allen and Roosevelt McKinley. However, the love of Pamela's life was found in her loving wife affectionately known as "Grandma Janet" Malone Lawson. Janet was Pam's lifelong friend, and her mentor in sobriety before becoming her wife in 2015. Pam had recently nursed Janet back to health after a major stroke in January of this year. Pam was a spiritual woman, a leader, a teacher, a counselor, a mentor, and a community activist in the fight against alcohol and drugs. She truly believed in the power of people. Pam closely followed the politics and civil unrest of our nation. She especially appreciated the new fight for our nation's freedom that would have impact on her kids, grandchildren, and community. Pam really loved and wanted the best for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who lovingly called her "Nana Pam." Pamela was a storyteller and true orator. She could make even the smallest thing seem like an epic adventure with her words. A simple trip to a family reunion could become an hour long tale that would have you rolling on the floor laughing. And don't get Pamela and her younger brother Donald together because they both have the storytelling gift, and nobody else would ever be able to get a word in edgewise! Everything they said was sure to be loud, bold and fun. Pamela enjoyed and liked all kinds of food! She often said that she "couldn't help it" because she loved to eat! She found a lot of her goodies at Costco. She liked the smoked salmon package with the green sauce, and multi-grain crackers, which so often made it home with her form the store, as well as a number of sweets. We know Pamela is happy because she made it home to be with her daddy, and the two of them are raising some hell up in heaven! After completing her life's journey, Pamela Lynn Malone Lawson, wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend to many, was set free from her three year fight with COPD. She left her earthly body to take her place among the angels and received her wings on Saturday August 15, 2020. Pam's Legacy now lives on through her spouse Janet Malone Lawson; her children: William Michael Clark, Serena Allen, and Tamika McKinley; her siblings: Donald and Danny Malone, Kyle Simmons, Karen Wade, Kaya Malone and Michelle Shelley "Poo" Hoey; her grandchildren: D'Arjene, D'Arion, Trezell, Camerion and Alijah Michael; and great-grandchildren: Santana and Sy'ire; along with many more nieces and nephews.
