Vicki Thall Greenberg

Vicki Greenberg, of blessed memory, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2020, after a 2 month battle with Covid-19. She was a treasure to her family. Vicki was born in Brooklyn, New York, on April 3, 1947. She "followed the Brooklyn Dodgers" to Los Angeles, California in 1957, where her family relocated to start a new business. Vicki attended University High School (class of 1964) and Cal State Northridge. Vicki and her husband Roger Greenberg married in 1979. Their blended family with 4 children built their lives in Houston, Texas, where she and her family have been surrounded by a loving community of friends. To know Vicki was to love Vicki. She has been described as "one-of-a-kind" and she "broke the mold." Vicki exuded warmth and personality. Her laugh was infectious. She loved family, especially being with her grandchildren, who were the lights of her life. She had a passion for travel, tennis, golf, bridge and Maj Jong. She decried "salt" on her food, using a substitute she carried with her at all times. son-in-law Kara and Adam Gross and son Matt Greenberg, and sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Robert Shuken and step-sister Andrea Sherman. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Max, Kori, Emma, Riley, Jaden, Skylar and Rory. She was preceded in death by her parents Eleanore and Leon Thall.
