Robert was born on November 30, 1948, the son of Robert O. and Elva (Slack) Smith. He passed away peacefully on August 25, 2020, at the age of 71. He was a resident of Ross Township. Smitty is survived by his loving girlfriend Michele Whitney. His son Robert T. Smith, Jr.; stepdaughter Victoria Lynn Whitney, Amanda Schultz; siblings Jeffrey A. Smith and Bonnie Smith Straight. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Sandra Ellen Smith and Linda Lee Smith. Robert honorably served his country in the US Navy and spent his career driving concrete and asphalt trucks. He will be dearly missed.
