Kim Yvette Tabor was born on April 12, 1967. Early on in life she endured many challenges. However, she did not let that define her journey. She began to grow and develop a relationship with God. As a young adult in her twenties, she decided to give her life to the Lord and was baptized. Kim later joined and was a faithful member of Heart of God Church under the leadership of Pastor Mark and Pat McElwee. Kim was a caring and compassionate woman who wanted to better herself and sow into the lives of others. She started her educational journey in San Diego, California at Chapman College, where she received her Associates degree in 2010. In 2012, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bradman University, and in 20104 she completed her Master of Arts Degree in Psychology from Bradman University. Kim realized her dreams and worked as a mental health educator, giving inspiring and informational lectures on various topics affecting the community. years. She believed in sowing into the lives of others, even during times of difficulty, inconvenience, and lack. She continued to give faithfully of her time, talents, and resources, expecting nothing in return. Kim wanted her daughters to see her example of perseverance and faith in God. She also wanted to carefully protect and train her daughters to love, depend on, and trust in the Lord as she did. God gave Kim a great love for children. She also worked as a preschool teacher to help inform her decisions about raising her own daughters, and help encourage and develop young minds. She also nurtured her spiritual kids Shasta and Joe whom she met in 2008 and 2011 respectively. After Joe and Shasta met and married in 2011, they remained Kim's lifelong spiritual children, gleaning from her wisdom and guidance. Above all else, Kim made sure she did her "God Job." She believed that "your story is your testimony." She encouraged others to embrace their story, and testify of God's goodness and deliverance in hopes to inspire others. This is what Kim felt she was built to do in life - share her journey and give God glory. Kim understood that writing her vision for the future was important. She created a vision board that outlined her future hopes, dreams and heart's desires. She prayed and kept her vision board before the Lord for almost twenty years, while raising her daughters to adulthood. In 2015, Kim met, and a few months later, married David Bryant. Their union and collective faith in God allowed them to overcome obstacles, and bond together in life and spirit. God restored and provided everything that Kim detailed on her vision board twenty years prior. She was truly living in God's favor, abundance, and overflow. Kim reaped a great harvest here on earth. She trusted in the Lord for what she wanted: a spiritual husband, financial stability, and good relationships with her daughters and newly blended family. God honored her request. He gave her everything that she could have dreamed or asked. Kim was called home, while in the arms of her loving husband. She now rests from all her earthly labor to enjoy her heavenly reward. On August 21, 2020, at the age of 53, Kim Yvette Tabor entered into heavenly rest. Left to cherish her precious memories are her husband: David Marion Bryant; daughters: Kailyana Natisha Tabor and Giana Tabor-Hill; mother: Zetta Jane (Darling) Tabor; sisters Bridgette Tabor, Shawna Tabor and Angela Tabor; brother Johnny B. Tabor, Jr. (Connie D. Sims); their children: Leontre, Janay, Victoria, Jonathan, Olivia, and Johnny, III; and a host of family and friends.
