Richard Kunz

Richard Robert Kunz, 94, of Rochester, MN passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2020 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN. Richard was born December 9, 1925 in Douglas, MN the son of Vernon Kunz and Helen (Kohn) Kunz. He graduated high school and served in the United States Army during WWII. On August 3, 1943 he was united in marriage to Helen Fuchs. Richard worked for Mayo Clinic for 38 years retiring as supervisor of the X-Ray Department. He is survived by his children, Larry (Sandi) of Pine River, MN, Diana (Dale) Schwanke of Lake Nebagamon, WI, Bonnie (Richard) Reding of Danbury, WI, Pamela (Greg) Reich of Rochester, MN; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie Kunz; son, Dennis Kunz and infant son, Bruce Kunz. A graveside service to celebrate Richard's life at Mount Hope Cemetery will be held at a later date.
