William Howard Gardner, age 91, formerly of Gainesville, GA, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at Arbor Terrace Assisted Living in Dacula, GA. Howard was born on June 7, 1929, in Cherokee County, Alabama, to the late William Cazy and Annie Ruth Langston Gardner. After four years of service in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict, he used his GI bill to attend night school at the University of Georgia and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in business. He owned and operated Computer Systems and Solutions, Inc. with his daughter Cheryl for 25 years. Howard's passion was teaching the gospel to others as a Sunday school teacher until the age of 85. He not only loved to fish, but he loved teaching others how to be fishers of men. He was a true patriarch of his family who kept the faith and was an everlasting influence in the family that he built and the community that he served.
