Joanne Marie Meola

Joanne Marie Meola, 85, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020, at home surrounded by family. Joanne was born September 6, 1935, in Canton, Ohio to Jack and Angeline Angelo. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Who loved her family fiercely. She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners, spending time with her family, and going to the casino. She was extremely creative throughout her life and enjoyed painting ceramics, cross stitch, and crocheting. She was also a very talented florist. She will be forever missed. Joanne is survived by her husband, Mike; son, Mike (Sharon) Meola; son, Jack Meola; daughter, Michelle (Tim) Kelly; daughter, Gina (Jason) Fleer; one sister; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. A visitation for family will be held on September 19, 2020, from 2-3 p.m. with a memorial service and celebration of her life to follow at Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E.
