Sherry Hughes, 44, of Conrad, IA passed away Monday, September 28, 2020, at her residence in Conrad. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 2, 2020, at Conrad United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2020, at the church. Interment will be at Liscomb Cemetery in Liscomb, IA. Sherry was born December 1, 1975, to Clair and Deborah (Lewis) Baily in Marshalltown, IA. She graduated from BCLUW High school in 1994. She received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Buena Vista University and later on received her nursing home administrator license. Sherry was united in marriage to Stewart Hughes on December 7, 1996, in New Providence, IA. She was employed as a Nursing Home Administrator for area nursing homes. Sherry had a love for shopping and you could always find her camping at the Iowa State Fair. She also enjoyed attending her children's sporting events.
