Cecil Joseph Chambers was called home to the Lord on October 3, 2020 surrounded by loved one's.
Born in Phoenix, Arizona On March 24, 1933, Cecil was preceded in death by his wife Ethel Margaret Worsham Chambers of 55 years. Brothers Jack R. Chambers, Freddie Dean Chambers and half brother Bill Vaughn. Sister Betty Jo Chambers and half sisters Aleen Vaughn and Juanita Vaughn.
Cecil is survived by his daughter Debra Ann Chambers Price and son James Randall Chambers. Eight granddaughters, Dena Chambers Shelp, Jennifer Chambers Atkinson, Kimberly Chambers Pritchett, Jayme Chambers Portugal, Raelene Chambers Dukes, Julie Chambers, Candice Thompson and Lisa Schay. Fourteen great grandkids and one great-great grandchild.
Cecil worked for Valley National Bank from 1956 until his retirement in 1995 at which time he was an Executive Vice President.
Cecil was alumina of Phoenix Union High School graduating in 1956.
