Richard Nageeb Schoder

Richard N. Schoder, 76, of Clinton Township, MI, passed away on November 2, 2020, after a valiant battle with cancer. Richard was born in Dearborn, Michigan in 1944 to Nageeb and Anna Schoder, and one of 9 siblings (5 boys and 4 girls). A Decorated Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, Richard was injured on four occasions during military action where he earned a Purple Heart, Bronze Star and several additional medals. Richard was an active member of many veteran organizations, including Military Order Purple Heart (Post Commander 1985-86), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), American Legion and was also a US Merchant Marine. Richard was the loving husband of the late Barbara Schoder, who recently passed, and also survived by his beloved children, Lisa (Don) Hadeed, Billy (Debbie) Zeigler, Denise (Phil) Rusinowski, Jeff (Dana) Zeigler, Danny Zeigler, Matt (Ashley) Schoder and Ricky (Lisa) Schoder and his 12 grandchildren, Brittany, Taylor, Zane, Adam, Paul, Jack, Alexis, Keely, Ella and Max.
