Alice E. Delano

Alice E. "Sis" Delano (nee Schuman), formerly of Bellmawr, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the age of 87. Alice was preceded in death by her husband Louis "Zip" Delano, her parents Frank & Alice Schuman, and her five brothers: Frank, Ralph, Louis, Raymond, and Larry. She is survived by her son Louis "Zip" Delano (Karen) of Mullica Hill and her daughter Roxanne Rand (Gary) of Eastampton, and two granddaughters: Lyndsey (Matt) and Kristy. Alice was a loving and dedicated Mother and Grandmother. She was a member of VFW Post 7410 in Bellmawr. Alice dedicated many years of volunteer service in Bellmawr, especially the Miss Bellmawr Pageant and the Bellmawr 4th of July Parade Committee. Services and interment are private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alice's memory to VFW Post 7410, 31 Walnut Avenue, Bellmawr, NJ 08031. [more]
