Bradley Valdemar Petersen
We lost our precious son, Bradley Valdemar Petersen, in Los Angeles, California, on October 28, 2020. An unexpected passing at the young age of 42. Brad was our first, and was a brilliant, loving, tender-hearted, and generous soul. Born in Ukiah, California, Brad graduated from Cactus High School in Glendale, Arizona, in 1996. He received his Bachelors Degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 2000, and his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine Law School in 2004. Brad practiced law in California for the past 16 years, and became an accomplished attorney and trial lawyer in Los Angeles and throughout the State. He was loved and admired by his peers, judges, and district attorneys. Handling hundreds of cases in court for his largest client, Brad never lost a case in his ten years representing the firm. Brad was an outdoor guy. A daredevil of sorts. He scuba dived, river rafted, paraglided, rock climbed; he loved camping, hiking, running, swimming, fishing, hunting, and was a tri-athlete. been organized in LA in Brad's honor. Brad is survived by his heartbroken parents, Philip V. and Kim M. Petersen of Phoenix, brother Craig Petersen of Phoenix, sisters Brittany Petersen of Tucson and Lisa Siebels of Omaha, and adopted brother Fabian Boellinger of Dusseldorf, Germany. He also leaves numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and his wonderful companions, his dogs Courtland and Oski. The family will not be holding an open service. Bradley will be laid to rest in Scottsdale, Arizona. The family requests no flowers. Bradley loved the outdoors, and spent much time in Montana, near the state's highest population of wolves.
