Lynn Montague, 57, of Council Bluffs, IA, passed away at the Garden View Health Care Center in Shenandoah on Thursday, November 26, 2020. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood with Father Dan Siepker officiating. Inurnment will be in the Glenwood Catholic Cemetery. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Lynn and his family. Lynn was born on January 15, 1963 in Wessington Springs, South Dakota, one of two sons of David Ernest and Darlene Marie (Bohr) Montague. Lynn graduated in 1981 from Riverside School. Lynn loved to cook, go bowling and just enjoyed being around people. He enjoyed watching cartoons, especially his favorite, Underdog. Lynn loved to give big hugs and a kiss on the cheek of the staff members at Park Place in Glenwood where he lived from 1982 until the facility closed. Lynn is survived by his mother, Darlene Montague, of Omaha, NE; brother Gregory Montague of Council Bluffs, IA; aunts, Mary Bohr of Neligh, NE, Barbara Collins of La Crescent, MN, and Sharon Pettersen and Marlene Montague, both of Rapid City, SD; many cousins and other relatives; former Park Place staff; and the staff at Ameriserve and Garden View.
