Cato, Mr. Lawrence James North Muskegon Mr. Lawrence James Cato, age 86, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020. He was born in Detroit, MI on February 5, 1934 to Ben & Mildred (Ward) Cato and served his country in the US Navy as a hard helmet diver & the Airforce as EOD serving two tours in Vietnam. He married the former Margine Noble on March 5, 1955. Mr. Cato spent 20 years in the Airforce until retirement in 1974 & later worked as a machine operator in several shops. Lawrence was a member of the VFW, Master Blasters Association, Old Engine Club in Scottville & liked woodworking. SURVIVORS Sons, Rick (Lindy) Cato, Greg Cato; grandchild, David Cato; great-grandchild, Rain Riley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margine in 2010; son, Walter; brothers, Bob & Ben Cato; sister, Margaret Green. SERVICE No services will be held.
