thers. Patricia was especially close to her siblings Linda and Robert. As youngsters, they played together in the sandbox and roller skated in the basement of the family house in Farmington. Even if they fussed, it wasn't long before they made up and were off on another adventure. All who knew her agree Patricia was a selfless person, always putting the needs of others before her own. She will be sorely missed. In addition to her parents of Farmington, she is survived by her husband, Taft Master Wood; children, Melissa Wood Palmer (Michael) of Woodleaf, and John Wood (Tammy) of Salisbury; siblings, Linda Caudle Smeltzer (Jim) of Charlotte and Robert Caudle (Kay) of Farmington; and grandchildren, William Cody Wood, Blake Allen Oliphant, Emily Rose Wood, Lily Grace Palmer, and Jillian Nicole Wood. A graveside service will be conducted, Saturday, December 12, at 2 p.m., at Farmington Community Cemetery with Rev. Dana Fruits officiating. At the request of the family, please be mindful of social distancing and wear face covering.
