She passed away on December 9, 2020 in Carter Lake, Iowa. Susan is preceded in death by her parents and Michael and Roberta Byrne; and sister, Ellen-Kay Klein. She is survived and will be missed by her loving husband, Butch Stites; children: Dawn Stites, Karrie (Nate) Mailander, Austin Stites, Aja (Nolan) Cain; grandchildren; siblings: Steve (Cherise) Byrne, Nancy (Bill) Minturn, Kathy (Curt) Jones, John (Cindy) Byrne, Timothy (Undine) Byrne, Theresa Sain; brother-in-law, Dave Klein; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 14, 2020 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. The service will be livestreamed for those unable to attend.
