omething. His skills evolved into woodworking where he would create custom decorated stools for his grandchildren, trinkets, and wall mounted bottle openers for his son's in law. Martin loved to barbeque and had four pits to meet his aspirations of being a pit master. Martin loved having his family around him and barbequing was just the excuse he could use to get them to gather at his house. His prowess at the pit made his house the gathering place for all his family and friends. Martin was a dedicated Catholic. He proudly wore his Fisher of men bracelet for all to see. Martin had his own style which included any form of clothing with US Army emblazed on it to his favorite fedora hat, which he would never leave the house without. He enjoyed Spanish and country music and had an extensive collection of CDs. He collected Army surplus, and anything John Deere related. He loved John Deere tractors so much that he would stop people operating these machines, just to talk with them about their loaders and equipment. Martin was always busy and just could not stay still. If he were not fixing or building something, he could be found washing laundry, cars, and anything else that could be washed, or he could be found at the store shopping.
