Our beloved Christopher Lee Trevino Jr. "Binkie", age 19, resident of Kyle, Texas was called by our Lord to be one of his angels on Saturday morning December 19, 2020. He was born on January 12, 2001 in Austin, Texas. Throughout his schooling, Christopher exceeded all expectations. He was accepted into the STEM program in grade school and was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. He was a 2019 graduate of Hays H.S. and received several college offers, accepting Texas A&M San Antonio. He worked as a hardware associate for Home Depot for 3 and a half years. He enjoyed sports, playing middle and high school football, track and basketball. He also played select basketball outside of school for many years. Christopher's love for basketball led him to idolize Kobe Bryant. He studied stats, games and Kobe for many years. He was fascinated by his skills and determination. Man, I gave my soul to this game. Binkie is survived by his loving parents Ivory Lajoy and Christopher Lee Trevino Sr., his sister Alyssa Raquel Trevino. Maternal grandparents Raymundo and Marie Garcia. Paternal grandparents Ruben Trevino and Mary Lou Trevino. His great grandmother, Josephine Nuncio. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by the love of his life, fiancé, Haley Lee Vargas and beloved dog, Nala. He is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Elizabeth Trevino. Please join Christopher's family in celebrating his remarkable life on Monday, December 28th, 2020 for a time of visitation from 6:00pm to 7:00pm followed by recitation of the rosary and eulogies at Harrell Funeral Home, 1715 Kirby, Kyle, Texas. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020 at St. Anthony Marie de Claret Catholic Church at 10:00am. 801 N. Burleson, Kyle, Texas, followed by interment at Assumption Cemetery in Austin. During this difficult time of abundant caution due to the Corona Virus, the gathering is limited to 100 people at the funeral home. Masks and Social distancing are required.
