Mike Vasquez, 48 of Malvern, IA, passed away December 24, 2020 in Omaha, NE from injuries sustained in a two-car accident near Malvern. Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Classic Cafe in Malvern. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Malvern is caring for Mike and his family. Mike was born on June 14, 1972 in Omaha, Nebraska, one of three children of Francisco V. Aguilara and Sharon Marie Nielsen. He graduated from Bryan High School in Omaha with the Class of 1991. Mike was employed in the landscaping business. Mike loved football and was a huge Husker fan. He enjoyed tinkering in the garage and attending garage sales and auctions. Mike was meticulous in keeping his lawn pristine. His pride and joy were his kids, whom he enjoyed coaching, along with spending time with his family and friends.
