Obituary of Charles T Coon, Jr. Charles T Coon, Jr, 62, of Kingston, NY, passed away on Sunday, December 27th, 2020 at the Golden Hill Nursing Home in Kingston, NY. Born on March 21, 1958, in Red Hook, NY, he was the son of the late Charles T and Helen (Rockefeller) Coon, Sr. Charles married Evelyn Cogswell and she survives at home in Kingston. For many years, Charlie worked at Wiltwyck Cemetery in Kingston, NY, for Riverside Pizza, and performing landscaping throughout the area. Charlie was a former member of the Tivoli Fire Company, the Tillson Fire Company, and the Esopus Rescue Squad. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He is survived by his wife, his children, Brittney (Charles) Bishop of Kingston, NY, Shawn Coon, Christopher Coon, John Bodie, and Jason Coon; his siblings, Theresa (Garry) Clasen, Donald (Lori) Coon, and Allen Coon; his grandchildren, Emma Bishop, Tyler Coon, and Chase Coon; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In addition to his wife, Deborah Coon, his son Danny Coon, and grandson, Jacob Coon predecease him Funeral Services and interment in Coon family plot at Red Church Cemetery in Tivoli will be private.
