Patricia Ann "Pat" Straub

Patricia A. "Pat" Straub, 87, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on Friday morning, January 8, 2021, at Ennoble Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dubuque. A funeral mass celebrating her life will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Maquoketa. There is no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A private burial will be held at Clinton Lawn Cemetery in Clinton, Iowa. The Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa is caring for the family. Patricia Ann Clark was born on October 20, 1933 in Maquoketa, Iowa to Tom and Marion (Wallace) Clark. She attended Maquoketa schools and worked for many years as a nurses aide at area nursing homes and hospitals. She married Dale White and to that union four children were born. They later divorced. On July 13, 1963 she married Tom Straub in Morrison, Illinois. "Pat" was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Maquoketa. She enjoyed dealing in antiques and going to flea markets and estate sales with her husband. She had an eye for decorating and kept a clean home.
