Louis Anthony Carrubba

Louis Carrubba, 71, a resident of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on December 28th, 2020. Louis was born in Poughkeepsie, NY to Rose and Paul Carrubba. In 1969, he met the love of his life, Barbara Nicholson, and they married in 1973. They moved to Arizona in 1978 to begin their new life together. Louis held a degree in medical technology and worked as an operations officer for Lab Corp. He had a passion for hunting, guns, camping, Italian cooking, and being the best father ever. All of which he excelled at. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, his 3 wonderful children, Anthony Carrubba, Danielle Dryden, and Alison Snyder, sons-in-law Kenneth Dryden and John Snyder, and daughter-in-law Jennie Carrubba. His sisters Ilda Zukowski, Isabel Mattiace, and brothers-in-law, Thomas Zukowski and John Mattiace all from New York. His sister Shirley Dressler and brother in law Brain Dressler from PA. He also had 8 grandchildren Kaelyn Rose, Caleb, Dylan, Aubree, Sharon, Leora, Johnie, and Ricky all of Phoenix. A memorial celebration of his life will be held at his residence on Saturday, January 23rd between 2-5 pm. [more]
