Gregory Alston was born May 19, 1954, in Passaic, New Jersey. Mr. Alston attended Passaic High School, in Passaic NJ. He worked for security for the Dallas Morning News in Dallas, Texas. His life will continue to be remembered and celebrated by his sons: Jamal Jackson, Kareem Jackson, Daniel Alston and Jecori Howie; his 12 grandchildren; his nephews and nieces, and many more relatives and close friends. He was greeted above by his mother Mary Coleman, his father William Butler Brown, his step father Maurice Johnson, his brother Shawn Johnson, and his son Damon Freeman.
