rnes in the accounting department and as personnel manager from 1950 to 1970. He moved to West Liberty and was employed with Louis Rich Foods as personnel director from 1970 until 1976. He was employed with the State of Iowa working with IPERS until his retirement in 1995. He was baptized and confirmed at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Rockford and was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in West Liberty where he was very active in the church serving on the church council and many committees. He was a member of the West Liberty Country Club and was an avid golfer. He was past president of the West Liberty Chamber of Commerce and a past member of Junior Achievement in Rockford. Survivors include his wife, H. Luella Larson of West Liberty; two sons, Larry R. Larson of Des Moines, Gary L. Larson and his wife, Nanette, of Valparaiso, Ind.; three grandchildren, David, Tess and Daniel; a sister, Helen Nordby of Rockford, Ill.; and a brother, Russell Larson of Greensboro, N. C. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
