MARGARET ENGLUND MUSCATINE, Iowa - Margaret Carolyn Englund, 86, died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002, at Riverbend Nursing and Rehab Center. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002, at Greenwood Cemetery. Dr. Hal Green of Wesley United Methodist Church will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brian Beavers, Matt Horton, Jared Sneddon and Mike Crews. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church. Miss Englund was born on Jan. 16, 1916, in Muscatine, the daughter of Dr. F. W. and Lydia Osher Englund. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church; the Delta Delta Delta, Delta Kappa Gamma and the Phi Beta Kappa Sororities; the American Association of University Women; the Natrona County Teacher's Association; the Wyoming Education Association and the National Education Association. She was very active in her church in Casper, Wyoming. She graduated from Muscatine High School in 1933, and went on to receive her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Iowa.
