Pearl Erickson MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Pearl W. Erickson, 89, Muscatine, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003, at Genesis Medical Center East, Davenport. Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ziegler Memorial Lutheran Church, New Era. The Rev. Paul Nelson will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by organist Mary Maxon and vocalist Henry Bentley. Pallbearers are Eric Lichtenwald, Neil Wulf, Lee Parrish, Scott Brockert, Jason Parrish and Justin Wulf. Burial will be at the Durant Cemetery, Durant. Visitations are 4-7 p.m. Friday at Bentley Funeral Home, Durant, and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to Ziegler Memorial Lutheran Church and the Durant Ambulance Service. Mrs. Erickson was born on Sept. 25, 1913, in Big Rock, the daughter of Edward and May Butler Miller. She married Carl C. Erickson on June 29, 1935, in Davenport. He preceded her in death on May 16, 1988. She was a member of Ziegler Memorial Lutheran Church. She assisted her husband on the family farm. She enjoyed plants and quilting. In later years her life revolved around her family and church.
