Karen Irene Lorang, age 75, the daughter of Helmer and Elsie Elizabeth (Schierholz) Peterson, was born October 13, 1945 in Salem, South Dakota. She passed away January 26, 2021 in Omaha, Nebraska. Karen is survived by her husband, Rodney; children: Mischelle Watts (Phillip), Bradley Lorang (Jeanette), Timothy Lorang (Melissa), Elizabeth Lorang (Michael Orso); grandchildren: Jessica, Russell, Lillian, Zachary, Loren, Jonathan, Noah, Samuel, Benjamin, Hope; one great-grandchild on the way; sister, Dorothy Lippert; brother, Wayne Peterson (Ruth); nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Reachel; granddaughter, Amelia; sister, Marceil Schneider.
