Barbara Jean Krueger

Barbara Krueger MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Barbara Jean Krueger, 54, Muscatine, died Sunday, March 2, 2003, at the home of her daughter in Letts. An informal gathering and luncheon will be held noon-3 p.m. Sunday in the Banquet Room at the Econo Lodge, Muscatine. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Nichols Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Crematory in Muscatine is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Krueger was born on July 22, 1948, in Muscatine, the daughter of Robert L. and Helen M. Hallmark Stammer. She married David W. Krueger on Dec. 18, 1985, in Davenport. He preceded her in death on Oct. 26, 2002. She lived in Muscatine from 1948-1996 when she moved to Waterloo, returning to Muscatine in 2002. She had been employed as manager of the Holiday Gas Station in Waterloo and owned and operated Barb's Beauty Boutique in Fruitland for many years. Survivors include a son, Brain Machlan of Muscatine; a daughter, Sara Burroughs and her husband, Charlie, of Letts; granddaughters, Ashlie and Amanda Burroughs; two brothers, E.A. Stammer of Boyertown, Pa. and Bob L. Stammer of Albany, Ill.; and two sisters, Mary Ann Jordan of Camanche and Melissa Blue of Shoreline, Wash. ...[more]
