JOHN WEBER MUSCATINE, Iowa - John F. Weber, 49, of rural Muscatine, died Wednesday, September 24, 2003, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the St. Mary Church, 417 Green Street. The Rev. Jason Crossen will officiate. Pallbearers will be Stuart Perkins, Don Latta, Jerry Lowe, Robert Cook, Tom Meeker, and Lonnie Goodwin. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Muscatine. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Mr. Weber was born on March 1, 1954, in Muscatine, the son of John S. and Beverly Hoffman Weber Jr. He married Jeanne Havel. He was a graduate of Louisa-Muscatine High School, class of 1972. He farmed in the Louisa County area. Survivors include his parents, John S. and Beverly Weber Jr. of Muscatine. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. [more]
