Jesus Martinez MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa #45;- Jesus C. Martinez, 53, Marshalltown, formerly of Muscatine, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at the Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines, after a brief illness. Services will be held in McAllen, Texas. The La Pieda Funeral Home, McAllen, is handling the arrangements. Mr. Martinez was born on May 4, 1950, in Peorsall, Texas. He worked at H.J. Heinz Co. for a few years before moving to Marshalltown where he was working at Swift Pork Co. Survivors include seven sons, Juan, Jesus Jr., Sam, Rudy, Freddie and Javier, all of McAllen, and Joel of Idaho; four daughters, Mary, Cynthia, Linda and Oneida, all of McAllen; eight brothers, Pedro and wife Maria, Juan, twin brother Jose and wife Cristela, Trine and wife Ana, Daniel and wife Petra, Ruben, Mario and Hector; two sisters, Janie and husband Elias and Yolanda and husband Jesus; and 31 grandchildren.
