Hal Entsminger WALCOTT, Iowa #45;- Hal E. Entsminger, 46, Walcott, died Friday, Oct. 31, 2003, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the Bentley Funeral Home, 1001 Sixth St., Durant. The Rev. Esther Barton will officiate. Pallbearers are Steve Howard, Danny Richlen, Barry Beranek, Chuck Einfeldt, Joe Border, Kevin Krause and Mike Ketelsen. Honorary pallbearers are Ron Barton, Glenn Schult and Ed Saldana. Burial will be at the Walcott Cemetery, Walcott. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Mr. Entsminger was born on Sept. 10, 1957, in Ottumwa, the son of Harold and E. Lenora Aringdale Entsminger. He married Janelle Fox on April 28, 1978, in Walcott. He worked for Treiber Construction, Davenport. He was a member of the Laborers Union Local 309. He enjoyed fishing, music, playing the drums, camping and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed a good story and putting a smile on everyone's face.
