GOLDIE SULZBERGER MUSCATINE, Iowa -Goldie Mae Sulzberger, 93, of Muscatine, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2003, at Lutheran Homes. Funeral Service will be 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2003, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Chaplain Vicki Pedersen of Lutheran Homes will officiate. Honorary Bearers will be Michael Sulzberger, Lee Sulzberger, John Sulzberger, Deborah Sulzberger, and David Sulzberger. Pallbearers will be Tim Sulzberger, Jeff Sulzberger, Sam Sulzberger, Steve Sulzberger, Craig Sulzberger, and Barry Sulzberger. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Goldie was born September 10, 1910, in Washington County, the daughter of Laura E. Wilson Baker. She married George E. Sulzberger on July 5, 1930, in Muscatine, Iowa. She was a member of the Bloomington-Muscatine Friends Church and Ladies of the Moose. She and her husband farmed in the Sweetland, Cranston, and Letts area.
