Bonnie Posten DAVENPORT, Iowa #45;- Bonnie J. Posten, 69, Davenport, died Sunday, March 28, 2004, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Services are 1 p.m. Thursday, April 1, at the All Faith Chapel, Halligan McCabe De Vries Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation is noon until service time Thursday, April 1, at the funeral home. Mrs. Posten was born March 12, 1935, in Muscatine, the daughter of Emmett E. Lee and Emeline Dunphy Lee. She married Richard Symmonds in 1951 in Muscatine. She later married Jim L. Posten on Jan. 28, 1978, in Davenport. She enjoyed traveling. Survivors include her husband, Jim; three daughters, Penny Symmonds and Debra Zummwalt and husband, Wayne, all of Muscatine, and Kimberly Posten of Davenport; two sons, Richard Symmonds and wife, Patti, of Louisa County and Jimmy Posten and wife, Patty, of Davenport; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lori Mae Thie of Mediapolis.
