EUNICE BIERMAN MUSCATINE, Iowa - Eunice A. Bierman, 85, of Muscatine, died Thursday, June 24, 2004, at home. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2004, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Rev. Arturo Carranza of the Bloomington-Muscatine Friends Church will officiate. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Barbara Swailes and her husband, Larry Swailes, Mark Carter, Bob Coyner, Melissa Bierman and Kristy Bierman. Burial will be in Bloomington-Muscatine Friends Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Bloomington-Muscatine Friends Church or Unity Hospice. Mrs. Bierman was born on October 8, 1918, in Lockwood, Missouri, the daughter of Clinton and Florence Vetter Hoag. She married Charley A. Bierman on February 23, 1941, in Muscatine. She was a member of the Bloomington-Muscatine Friends Church. She enjoyed quilting and sewing. Survivors include one son, Kenneth C.
