Robert Dean Ledford Jr.

Robert Dean Ledford Jr., 77, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, February 7, 2021, at his home. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Faith United Methodist Church in Monmouth, Iowa. Cremation has taken place. A private burial will be held at a later date. Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa is caring for the family. It is encouraged to utilize face masks and to observe social distancing guidelines during the services. Robert Dean Ledford Jr. was born on August 27, 1943 in Kewanee, Illinois to Robert Dean and Helen (Millhouse) Ledford Sr. He was a graduate of Kewanee High School. He married Rita Rozann White on May 9, 1965 in Davenport, Iowa. Four children were born to this union, Pam, Mike, Scott and Heather. Robert had worked at Kewanee Manufacturing and later Bear Manufacturing in the Quad Cities. For many years he worked at I.H. Case as an assembler, retiring as a Quality Controller.
