Steven James Conrad

Steven James Conrad, age 69, passed away peacefully February 19, 2021 due to complications from Covid. He was born September 3, 1951 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Steve loved to love on people, he would give you the shirt off of his back. He was always making everyone smile and laugh. He enjoyed sharing his stories about life. He was the Cozy King, he made the best pillow pallets and forts for his children and grandchildren. He loved teaching his children and grandchildren how to fish, enjoy nature walks and hiking. Steve was in the Navy for two years, he loved the ocean. For many years he was the Artist and Owner of Graphics by Nature creating beautiful old world maps of Lake Lanier, Forsyth County, the Caribbean and so many more. Steve is survived by his fiancee Kathy Lea, daughter and husband Jesse and Michael Thomasson, grandchildren; Christopher, Jackson and Tanner. Mother of His children Sherry Conrad, His two sisters Linda Moore and her son Jerry Ferguson and Kris Welliver and her four sons Ian, Jake, Mac and Joe.
