Cecilia Bernadette Cardoza

Cecilia Bernadette Cardoza a long time resident of Dos Palos, CA passed away on January 8, 2018 at New Bethany in Los Banos. She was 84. Cecilia was born on September 18, 1933 in Hanford, California the daughter of Manuel and Mary (Vaz) Luis. In 1952, Cecilia graduated from the Dos Palos High School. She met the love of her life Manuel J. Cardoza and married him on November 7, 1954 in Dos Palos, CA. She worked for Bank of America for 30 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church of Dos Palos, YLI, SPRSI and the Golden Agers. She will be greatly missed and remembered fondly and lovingly by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Manuel and Mary Luis, husband: Manuel J. Cardoza, and two grandchildren: Francis and Doug McSwain. She leaves to cherish her memories; her children: Jim (Sue) Cardoza, Sandra (Richard) Pruitt, Mike (Toni) Cardoza, Susan (Jon) Contreras, six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and many family and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 9:00 am – 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:00 am.
