Munson, 78, 486 Hawkinson, Galesburg, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, at Rosewood Care Center, Galesburg, of natural causes. The Revs. Mark Taylor and David Scholl will officiate the services. Burial will be at Oneida Cemetery, Oneida, Illinois. Memorials may be made to Wataga Congregational Church, Wataga, Illinois, or Galesburg Rescue Mission, Galesburg, Illinois. Mrs. Munson was born on Aug. 3, 1926, in Galesburg, Illinois, the daughter of William A. and Mildred Elsie Sward Ringberg. She married Harold E. Munson on Oct. 15, 1944, in Galesburg, Illinois. He preceded her in death on Aug. 4, 2004. She was reared and educated in rural Knox County, Illinois, graduating from ROVA High School. She was a member of the Galesburg Rescue Mission Auxiliary and volunteer, member of the Happy Pigs Collectors Club and Wataga Congregational Church.
