Herman John Meyer, Jr. passed away at the age of 90 on February 16, 2021. He was a kind, loving, interesting and adventuresome family man that will be dearly missed.
He graduated from the Indiana Institute of Technology, Magma Cum Laude, with a degree in Electronic Engineering.
As a Korean War veteran, he was chosen to go on the Honor Flight to Washington, DC.
Herm enjoyed ham radio, the stock market, hiking Arizona, writing poetry, bluegrass music, and perfecting his love of the French language.
He leaves behind his wife Sharron of 58 years, sons, Brien, Craig (Barb), Neal, and grandsons, Branden, Jeffrey and Chris.
A private service will be held at St. Pauls Catholic Church for the immediate family.
Donations in his name can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or Hospice of the Valley.[more]
