Audrey O'Brien MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Audrey Elizabeth O'Brien, 77, Muscatine, formerly of Houston, Texas, died on Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at Lutheran Homes. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2005, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Muscatine. The Rev. Paul Ostrem and Chaplin Vicki Pedersen will officiate the services. Casket bearers are Herb Fisher, Tom Saraceno and Aaron Saraceno. Honorary casket bearers are Angelica Regal, David Fisher, Timothy Fisher and Ashlan Snyder. After the services, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the church. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on Friday, February 18, 2005, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, 2907 Mulberry Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Muscatine Humane Society or the Chaplaincy Endowment Fund at Lutheran Homes. Mrs. O'Brien was born on August 12, 1927, in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Thomas G. and Nellie M. Green. She married Richard William O'Brien in February of 1973 in Houston. 1989. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She volunteered many hours at Unity Hospital, the Salvation Army as a Christmas bell ringer, the SPCA of Muscatine and other charities throughout the Muscatine area. She loved her family and grandchildren very much, as well as her 'precious puppies'. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Paula Saraceno and husband, Tom, of Denver, Colo., Kerry Fisher and husband, Herb, of Fredericksburg, Texas, and Peggy Snyder and husband, Larry, of Celina, Texas; five grandchildren, Aaron Saraceno, Angelica Saraceno Regal, John David Fisher, Timothy Fisher and Ashlan Snyder; a great-grandchild, Kailey Layne Fisher; a sister-in-law, Anita Green; a niece, Annesta Lunde of Texas; two nephews, John Dale Green and David Allen Green, both of Texas; and numerous grand and great-nieces and -nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Thomas S. Green; and a nephew, Thomas S. Green Jr.
