Louis C. Riffe

Louis C. Riffe of Phoenix, Arizona passed in peace Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Louis was born in Excelsior Springs, MO, and shortly after birth his family moved to Des Moines, Iowa. Louis attended and graduated from Des Moines North High School. He also attended and graduated Drake University. He joined the United States Army and was stationed in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Louis earned the Korean Service Medal with three bronze stars. Louis worked in the insurance industry and stayed busy with several business ventures. Louis was loved by many for his undeniable charisma and masterful ability to put a smile on your face and heart. Louis was preceded in death by his friend of 35 years Judith Buckley, Father Louis G. Riffe, Mother Louise Moore Williams, Grandmother Frances Moore, Daughters Theresa L. Riffe, & Francine Riffe, and Son Marc L. Riffe. He is survived by Son Charles L. Riffe of Bowie, MD, and Daughter Dr. Markay Winston of Bloomington, IN. A virtual Celebration of Life will be held on June 10, 2021.
