Richard Andrew Hlawek

Andy was born on June 26, 1962 in Tampa, FL to Bob and Elaine (Jones) Hlawek. As an Air Force "Brat", he made many cross country moves before settling in Arizona in 1978. While Arizona is where he spent the majority of his life, he always maintained that Florida was home. His friends made while living in Florida became a second family to him, and he visited often. Andy worked diligently through the years, holding numerous positions and owning many businesses following his departure from Motorola in 2001. In 2015, Andy returned to school to complete his Bachelors degree. In 2019, at the age of 57, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a degree in Business and a concentration in Supply Chain Management and Global Logistics. He went on to become the Director of Facilities and Construction at Crunch Fitness in Austin, TX. Andy loved to travel, but he often said his favorite place in the world was wherever Beccy happened to be. Andy didn't know a stranger, running into people he knew all over the world. eceded in death by his parents and eldest sister Diane, Andy is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Beccy, his son Ryan (Tana), his daughter Rachel (Jonathan), and his grandson Bennett. He is also survived by his brother Robb and sisters Leslie and Laurie, his many nieces and nephews, and Beccy's family who he claimed as his own.
