cretary and they quickly recruited her to also model. In the 70's, Marilyn entered the insurance and financial planning business and quickly excelled. She truly found her calling by helping clients, mentoring junior staff, and developing long term relationships. She officially retired at age 77 but continued to help clients until close to her death. As Marilyn had such a passion for life, she had many interests including: volunteering, traveling, cooking and entertaining, fashion, mentoring, spiritual development, decorating, knitting, wreath making, gardening, creating floral arrangements, and more. Most important to Marilyn though were her friendships and family. She was extremely trusting and always had time to nurture new and existing friendships. She was a positive role model for her daughters and provided never ending unconditional love and support to them. And nothing, brought her more joy then spending time with her grandsons. She was fiercely loyal and despite many obstacles in her life, she never lost her optimism and can-do spirit. She was and will remain a bright light for all of those who were fortunate to know her. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Due to Coronavirus restrictions, there will be a private service for family only. A larger celebration of Marilyn's life is planned for August 2021. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to the Educational (529) Funds established for Gagan and Grishma Timsina by mailing checks, payable to the account guardian, Stephanie Haynes, with Timsina 529 Funds in the memo line, to 26-7 Great Wood Court, Fairport NY 14450. Alternately, donations can be made in Marilyn's name to the University of Rochester Home Care Hospice, 2180 Empire Blvd, Webster, NY 14580.
