Mary Moore Service: noon Saturday, May 7, Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services, Columbus Junction. Visitation: 4-7 p.m. Friday, May 6, funeral home. CHICAGO #45;- Mary Moore, 59, Chicago, died Wednesday, May 4, 2005, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago. The Rev. Calum MacLeod will officiate the service. Casket bearers are Stephanie Marshall, Joel Marshall, Lynne Zinnel, Jeff Eggebeen, Eric Zinnel, Mark Moore, and Steven Moore. Burial will be at Columbus City Cemetery. A memorial has been established at the funeral home. Miss Moore was born Nov. 22, 1945, in Washington, the daughter of Frank Burdette and Martha Caldwell Moore. She was raised on a farm near Columbus Junction and graduated from Columbus Community High School in 1964. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 1968 with a degree in business administration. She worked for Arthur Andersen in Chicago and Milwaukee; Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, Chicago; American National Bank, Chicago; Bank One, Columbus, Ohio and Chicago; KPMG, Prague, Czech Republic; and Jenner amp; Block, Chicago. She was a devoted and faithful member of Fourth Presbyterian Church, Chicago, where she served as ruling elder, treasurer, and trustee. She had served as a member of Joint Finance, Audit, Stewardship, and Capital committees; was a member of the Project Light Leadership Team; served as chair of the Evangelism Committee; leader of Inquirer's classes; and sponsor for the Mission Benefit. She loved to travel and had traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia. She will be remembered for her focus and commitment to her career and her family and friends. Her integrity was unquestioned and her family and friends will remember her loyalty and her caring and concern for others. Survivors include her mother, Martha Moore of Washington; her sisters and brothers, Jean Whyte and husband Bob of Lakewood, Colo., Alice Zinnel and husband Stan of Mason City, Joyce Eggebeen and husband Steve of Oostburg, Wis., Keith Moore of Shawnee, Kan., and George Moore and wife Anita of Washington; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Marshall and husband Joel, Lynne Zinnel, Jeff Eggebeen, Eric Zinnel, Mark Moore, and Steven Moore. She is preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
