Ronald Riggan Services: 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services, Lone Tree. Visitation: 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, funeral home. LONE TREE, Iowa #45;- Ronald D. Riggan, 56, Lone Tree, died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City, after an extended illness. Burial will be at the Lone Tree Cemetery. After the burial, a time of fellowship will be held at the Lone Tree American Legion. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home. Mr. Riggan was born Sept. 19, 1949, in Iowa City, the son of Henry and Amanda Seering Riggan. He married Linda Hudachek on Oct. 26, 1968, in West Liberty. He was a 1967 graduate of Lone Tree High School. He was self-employed as an electrician and later he worked for Nate Moore in Iowa City. He was a member of the Lone Tree Jaycees, serving as president and was involved with Boy Scouts. He enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, watching NASCAR, going to the tool section in any store, riding around Lone Tree in his blue 1968 Harley Davidson golf cart, but most of all, he dearly loved to spend time with his family and his grandchildren.
